Hey there, readers! I wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and give you a behind-the-scenes look at the faces behind Oxford Retrievers. My name is Richard, and I started Oxford Retrievers back in 2013 when I purchased my first male American Retriever puppy, Bentley. Bentley quickly became a beloved member of our family with his good behavior and ability to learn. We were so impressed with him that we decided to expand our crew of beautiful American Golden Retrievers.

In 2017, I met my wife Natasha, and she quickly fell in love with our Goldens. We got married in the fall of 2020 and moved to a spacious property near Waterford, Ontario, where we built a new kennel for our growing crew of American Retrievers. We are thrilled to have you all along with us on this exciting journey at Oxford Retrievers and are grateful for your support!

Now, let’s talk about our amazing dogs! Bentley is the male who started it all here at Oxford Retrievers. He is full of energy, playful, and incredibly happy. Bentley loves being around people and children, and his favorite game is fetch. He never turns down an opportunity to play! We adore Bentley and watching him adjust to our growing family has brought us so much joy. He is incredibly loyal and always by our son’s side.

Abby is another one of our American Retrievers. She is Bentley’s daughter and a sister to Maya. Abby loves going for runs with us to the pond and her favorite activity is hunting for frogs. Maya, on the other hand, is our curliest retriever. She is a sweetie and has a mischievous side. Maya loves stealing treats from the other dogs and enjoys play-fighting with her sisters.

Tay is a daughter of Bentley and Bailey, our retired English Retriever. She loves playing with her dad and going on new adventures. Tay is also our fastest dog and always the first to reach the pond during our daily runs.

Barlow is our newest addition to the family. We purchased him from a trusted breeder in Manitoba, and he has quickly become the goofiest member of our crew. Barlow loves keeping us on our toes!

Bailey is another one of Bentley’s daughters, and she has a very sweet nature, just like her mom. She is currently our darkest red female. We are excited to announce that we will be adding some new faces to our group this year, so stay tuned for pictures!

We are dedicated to breeding top-quality American Golden Retrievers with exceptional bloodlines. Our dogs are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club and come from extraordinary hunting and obedience training backgrounds. We take pride in raising healthy, well-socialized puppies in a home-based environment on our large property, allowing them ample room to run and play.
