Skye in Conformation: CH pointed VCX

While moderate in size and bone and a slightly shortened stride due to years of heads up heeling in obedience, Skye’s presence, zest for life and strong topline and rear allowed him to prove that a strong working dog can also be successful in the conformation ring.

Skye won the Novice dog class at the 2003 NS; He won the Hunting Retriever class at the 2007 NS (at 9 1/2), He made the cut in the AM Bred class in Gettysburg; Won the HUnting Retriever class at Greater Pittsburgh Specialty; Won the Open Dog class and winners Dog in Indiana to become the breeds first CH ptd. OTCH MH and earning his VCX!
