When it comes to purchasing a puppy from Goldenridge Kennels, rest assured that our puppies are sold with AKC limited registration papers and a spay and/or neuter contract. We believe in responsible breeding practices and want to ensure that our puppies go to loving homes where they will not contribute to overbreeding. As part of our commitment to the well-being of our puppies, they will receive their first set of vaccines, be wormed, and undergo a physical examination by a veterinarian before they leave our home.

Beyond the legalities and paperwork, we want you to know that we stand behind the quality of our puppies. That’s why we provide a copy of Chapter 745 ‘Sale of Dogs and Cats’ from the State of Maine/Department of Agriculture to all customers. Our puppies are guaranteed in accordance with the Maine State Law of the Sale of Cats and Dogs. We truly care about the well-being of our puppies and want to ensure that they have the best start in life.

To reserve a puppy, we require a $500 deposit for American Reds and blend puppies, and a $500 deposit for Full Euro Crème puppies. The deposit can be paid using Visa, MasterCard, or a check payable to Roxanne Ellsworth. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable, regardless of health issues or changes in employment. However, we understand that unexpected situations can arise, so if circumstances prevent you from taking the puppy from a particular litter, your deposit can be applied to the next upcoming litter or any other litter of your choice within the next 2 years.

It’s important to note that while a breeding may not always result in a pregnancy, or a split heat cycle may occur, we are committed to the well-being of all our puppies. During their time in our care, which is typically 8 weeks, we make all medical decisions for the puppies in conjunction with our veterinarian to ensure their best interests.
